Use your operating airline, local departure date and flight number to find the right desk and confirm the day’s check-in arrangements.
Start with the operating airline shown on your ticket, the departure date in the departure airport’s local time and your flight number. Then check the airport’s departure screens and the operating airline’s official airport guide.
Check the flight before choosing a queue
Check which airline actually operates your flight, especially if your ticket also shows another airline’s code. Use the local departure date and flight number to match your flight on the departure screens.
Find the departure floor and current counter
Follow the departure screens and the operating airline’s official airport information for the terminal, departure floor and check-in area. Counter allocations can change with the season or on the day, so confirm the counter and check-in deadline before joining the queue.
Choose the desk for your request
Check-in, ticketing and arrivals baggage assistance are different services. For a ticket change or refund request, ask the airline which ticketing or service desk handles it. For a bag that is damaged or has not arrived, ask for the arrivals baggage assistance desk.
Confirm the next step with the airline
Ask the staff whether the desk handles your request and which documents you need. Delay or cancellation certificates and insurance claims have separate procedures. Finding a ticketing counter does not automatically establish compensation entitlement or mean that the desk pays compensation.
Can I use the ticketing counter for a baggage problem?
